Local Union No. 357
A nomination period was held January 15-February 18, 2016 to nominate candidates for Delegate and Alternate Delegate to the 29th International Convention of the IBT to be held in Las Vegas, NV.
2 Delegates and 1 Alternate Delegate were to be elected. The number of nominees did not exceed the number of delegates to be elected and, therefore, the candidates named below are declared elected.

As we announced last fall, the Delegate Election is coming up. We recently mailed the required notice for the nomination period, the nomination form, and Notices by Mail form to your address on file with the Local. All forms were required to be physically mailed to our members.
The Notices by Mail form must be returned to the Local if you would like to receive future Delegate Election notices by US Mail, in addition to required blast e-mails and posts on www.local357.org.
Delegate Election material is accessible from our website (About us-->Teamsters International-->2016 Delegate Election). Member access is not required to review most of the information posted. However, logging in is required to access some information that was sent to members.
Members who wish verify their eligibility to run, nominate or second someone for this election must make the request through the IBT Office of the Election Supervisor (NOT THE LOCAL) no later than February 11, 2016. Delegate Election Update 12-23-2015
Fellow Pilots,
This serves as required notification that the Local 357 Delegate Election has been approved. Advised previously, an election will take place this spring to select two delegates and an alternate to represent our Local at the 2016 IBT Convention. A nomination period will take place allowing for individuals to seek candidacy for this election. Further detail is in our plan summary, which in addition to being included in this message is posted on our website. Once logged in, you can access the plan by clicking on the following: About Us, Teamsters International, 2016 Delegate Election, and then "2015-16 Local Union Election Plan (approved)".
The next required notice you will receive will be the Nomination Notice sent by U.S. Mail. These mailings will go out on January 14, 2016.

Delegate Election Update 11-30-2015
This message serves as a follow up to September's announcement of the 2016 Local 357 Delegate Election. Our Local will send 2 delegates and an alternate to the 2016 International Brotherhood of Teamsters Convention. This Convention will serve to determine the International's General Executive Board. Delegates attending will represent their local to partake in voting in the election determining the next term for our IBT General Executive Board. To establish our delegates and alternate a nomination period runs January 14 through February 18, followed by a voting period March 21 through April 22. Information will continue to go out to facilitate this process.
