News from the 29th International Convention
Your delegates and alternate represent you at the International Convention. The Teamster Convention is the highest body of our union. The entire Teamster Constitution is up for review, every article in the Constitution s up for possible amendment or change and all delegates get to vote.
The Teamster Convention will also nominate candidates to run for Teamster president and all the vice president positions. Click here for campaign information. Other delegates may nominate additional candidates. It takes 5% of the delegates to nominate, and more than that to get democratic proposals passed.
