7/27/2016 Midwest Pilots

On February 29, 2016, Arbitrator Dana E. Eischen ruled that the Midwest Pilots Merger Committee could challenge under the 2009 Dispute resolution Agreement (DRA) the manner in which Midwest pilots were recalled in 2012 and RAH’s removing from the Integrated Seniority List those who declined recall. But he also ruled that the Merger Committee did not have the right under the DRA the manner in which RAH calculated the Midwest pilots’ longevity. That dispute has to be decided before the Chautauqua/IBT System Board of Adjustment. The MPMC and IBT are in discussions with RAH about these disputes and we need to find out how many former Midwest pilots would be interested in being recalled to Republic with their integrated seniority intact and with your full Midwest longevity. We also need to know whether you would be interested in recall if your longevity did not include your Midwest service, but was calculated under the new RAH/IBT CBA–which is five years.
