Membership Transfers

Please note on your membership application if you were a member at another Teamster Local/Affiliate AND contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. IMMEDIATELY.   

Provide as much information as possible, including the Local Number.

If you were a member in good standing at another Local, you MAY be able to transfer your membership without paying an initiation fee.  

You may need to pay any outstanding dues/assessments/fees to your previous Local before transferring to Local 357. 

The membership/dues department will research and contact the previous Local to verify membership and transfer eligibility.

In the event we cannot verify the information in a timely manner, your initiation fees may still be deducted from your pay.  However, the fee will be refunded or applied to dues/assessments at a later date.
