Teamsters Local 357 Hosts All Committee Chairman’s Meeting to Strengthen Union Leadership and Strategy
Carmel, IN. – Teamsters Local 357, representing the professional flight deck Crew Members of Republic Airways, hosted its highly anticipated All Committee Chairman’s Meeting today at the Local 357 Union Hall. The gathering, which brought together the union’s dedicated committee chairpersons, provided an opportunity for leaders to discuss key strategic initiatives, set committee goals for 2025, discuss legal and grievance matters, current hot topics, and strengthen the union’s commitment to supporting its members.
The meeting, led by Local 357’s Executive Board, focused on fostering collaboration across the organization and enhancing communication across all committees.
“We are excited to bring together our committee chairpersons to ensure that Teamsters Local 357 is stronger than ever,” said Captain Anthony Campo, President of Teamsters Local 357. “Our members rely on us to advocate for their rights, and today’s meeting is an essential step in ensuring that our leadership is aligned, proactive, and ready to face whatever challenges may come.”
The All Committee Chairman’s Meeting also served as a platform for chairpersons to share best practices, collaborate on new initiatives, and further unify Local 357’s network of support. The event featured a series of breakout sessions aimed at enhancing committee leadership skills and addressing the needs of members. Attendees also discussed ways to effectively engage the membership and amplify the collective voice of Local 357.
“Every committee plays an essential role in supporting our members, and the insights gained today will strengthen our overall efforts to ensure that the rights and interests of working men and women are always at the forefront,” said Captain Phil Carter, Vice President of Teamsters Local 357.
